Can I be charged with murder if I didn’t directly kill someone?
Yes, Massachusetts law includes what is known as the “felony murder rule,” which allows someone to be charged with murder if a killing occurs during the commission or attempted commission of a life felony, even if they did not directly cause the death. For example, if a person dies during a robbery you’re involved in, you could face a murder charge.
